Christoph Geiger designed »Kitzel Klub« as part of his diploma thesis at the Bremen University of the Arts. The thesis was developed in cooperation with the Gerhard-Marcks-Haus and supervised by Prof. Andreas Ostwald.

In 2012, the project was awarded first place in the HfK University Prize.
