CHANGE NOW — SHIPS CHANGE THE WORLD

2022

Special exhibition,
German Maritime Museum (DSM),
Leibniz-Institute for Maritime History,
Bremerhaven

The exhibition was developed on the occasion of the UN Ocean Decade, which aims to link marine science with the needs of human society.

The main narrative of the exhibition, 10 theses on the far-reaching impact of ships, is interwoven with the building’s characteristic ten cabinets. They present ships as engines of trade, globalization and science – but also of climate change and its consequences.
